Theodore O'Connor, a 14.1 hand Thoroughbred Sportpony gelding, made history at the 2007 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event in Lexington, Kentucky as he became the first pony horses are 14.2 hands or taller to compete in the prestigious four-star event.
The Pony as he was referred to throughout the weekend, was piloted to third place by two-time Olympic medallist Karen O'Connor and was the one of only two horses to finish the stadium jumping round with no jumping or time penalties. In the end, he was awarded the Best Conditioned Horse Trophy. The pair was later named to the eventing team for the 2007 Pan American Games.
Any child would love to own this beautiful thoroughbred pony.
