SIKU 1:32 Scale Farmer Series

For more than 50 years SIKU has fascinated children and adults alike with its model toys. The range of SIKU toy farm models is as fascinating and varied as the real world of agriculture.

The SIKU 1:32 farmer range of models reflect the image of reality, the many different models each have individual functions with a high attention to detail. SIKU scale models have both play and collectable value for children of all ages.
Richard Sieper built the Sieper foundary in 1921 at Ludenscheid, Germany. The companies initial products were house hold and consumer goods, as well as metal buttons and belt buckles. The company experimented with injection moulded plastic in 1933, and over the next decade saw a shift in production to this new material.

The SIKU brand was first introduced by the company in 1950, the SIKU name an abbreviation of Sieper Kunststoffe (translated as Sieper Plastics). Figures and farm animals were introduced at the first Nuremberg toy fair.

This was followed by a number of 1:60 scale plastic vehicles, and by 1958 SIKU had a range of over 100 1:60 scale plastic vehicles. In 1963 SIKU introduced die cast metal model vehicles, and soon after started producing scale models of commercial vehicles.

This has continued up to today, SIKU now have over 200 models in their range, and introduce over 30 new models a year.
