Schuco collectable miniature models

The Schuco range features farm vehicles from important periods in German automotive production.

Designed true to the originals, many details are reproduced by the process of brass etching putting the Schuco models high up on the quality scale.

Founded in 1912 at a Nuremberg facility, Schuco introduced it's first wind up tin toys to pre-war Germany. Some models became immensely successful, and by the 1920's, Schuco was producing over 8000 models a day until war suspended production.

The switch to die cast toys in the 1950's saw the introduction of the famous Piccalo range, and in 1962 Schuco produced it's 100 millionth model. The switch to die cast and plastic came too late, and Schuco went out of business in 1976.

The Schuco name lived on as part of a larger family of brands until 1996 when Schuco again became an independent company, producing a range of nostalgic and highly collectable toys.
