The roots of Hanomag go back to 1835 when George Egestorff founded an engine works in Hanover, Germany. It wasn't until nearly 100 years later, in 1924, when Hanomag introduced tractors and other vehicles. Over the following years, Hanomag has been acquired by many other companies such as Massey Ferguson, IBH and most recently in 1989 Komatsu.
