Hand painted and authentically detailed models of horse and hound pay tribute to the centuries' old sport of fox hunting. First recognised as an organised activity in the 17th century, riding to hounds has had a marked impact on the tradition, language and culture of the English countryside. As fox hunting evolved into a sporting and social activity, horses and hounds were carefully bred for the purpose, and rules and etiquette were formalised.


These models have been carefully detailed to evoke the tradition of the hunt.
