Fendt tractors and forestry vehicles

Hermann Fendt built the first 'dieselross' (diesel horse) from old parts in his father's shop in 1928. In 1930 Fendt introduced the Dieselross tractor to the European market, intended to help middle sized replace horse power with mechanised machinery, and went on to produce their 1000th Dieselross in 1938
Fendt became part of the AGCO corporation in 1997, and continue to produce agricultural machinery under the Fendt name today.
